ABOUT US
The spirit
of the forest
Mori no Seirei means “the spirit of the forest”. We chose this name because to us, the Akita is a truly free spirit: strong, independent and naturally dignified, a dog whose trust cannot be forced.
When planning a mating, we consider the dogs’ health, temperament, lineage and the preservation of the breed’s character together. All dogs in our breeding programme undergo hip dysplasia screening.
For us, breeding begins with knowing and loving our dogs. It does not end when a puppy leaves for its new home.
